WE KNOW WE GOT THE SNOW, BUT WAS FEBRUARY COLDER THAN NORMAL?
We calculate this based on Degree Days. A Degree Day is a term used to measure the heating needs of buildings (your home) based on the average temperature of the day. It is calculated by subtracting the average temperature of the day from 65. (Example: If the average of the high and low temperature in a day is 30 de-grees, then there are 35 degree days for that day. Wind chill is also figured in the calculation) A normal month of February would average about 41 Degree Days per day. This February we averaged about 52 Degree Days per day. That makes the month about 20% colder than a normal February. February 15th alone was 71 De-gree Days and was the coldest day recorded since 1/15/04 (75 DDays). WOW!!
TO ALL OF OUR BUDGET ACCOUNT CUSTOMER :Although we try our best to estimate your fuel usage in calculating your monthly budget payment, sometimes factors such as weather, home addi-tions / changes, and price will effect our estimates. Starting in April there are only 3 regular payments remaining in the budget season. Please be aware of your current balance and plan accordingly. Some of you may have seen adjustments made to previous months payments. These were done to try and elimi-nate any overpayment or balance due at the end of June, the last month of the budget plan. (Keep in mind that you may still receive another oil delivery before the end of the season.) Please note that your total bal-ance, after any applied budget payments, must be paid in full before the start of the next budget season– (July 30th). Please call us with any questions and we will be happy to help. 781-834-8831 Thank you! |

Think About It
Don’t tell people how to do things, tell them what to do and let them surprise you with their results.
From our Service Department:We try hard to reach you and schedule the annual tune up of your heating system. However, we do not always have the best contact for you. Many of you have given us a cell phone number or a work number to reach you during the day. This helps us in contacting you to schedule a convenient time for you. If you have new contact information, please note it on your next payment and we will make the changes on your account. If an email works best for you, please include that also.
